    Check your bins boys!

I just had 4400bu of high cleaver canola heat. Was fine Sunday morning, smoking by Tuesday evening. I moved it to a couple of small air bins and the column of steam was 20' high.

Was it dry when it went into the bin?

Opi cables, I still check to be sure temps are going down. Cooled bins in Oct.
We have all seen hot canola/grain.
Ours heated once with 1000 bu in a hopper tested 11%!
      Hopefully not all is damaged.

Yes, dry going in. Turned about 3 weeks ago. It was fine a week ago when the Crop Insurance adjuster was there.

Going to check into Opi cables.

Isn't there a story about a barn door and a horse? That's kinda where I am now.

Look into OPI moisture and temp cables. You
might as well buy that combination straight away
now that we have the option.
I have temp cables but next summer I plan to
change them out for the combo cables..

Yes, liberty canola. Cleavers was the clue.

                  Bin was a Brock 18', 6 rings.
