I know its early but CPS new crop is 7.70 for sept/oct/nov delivery. Not a bad place to start? Feed barley is 4.78 (not enough) and Canola is 12.38 (not enough after this year).
I can gross close to 600/acre with CPS and the production risk isn't as high as Canola.
I sure wouldn't lock in much this early but I'm thinking of covering 50% of my fixed costs (rent and prebought fert).
Anybody else think its a good price for CPS?
