Just know what I see, re-read the earlier post, there are positive and negatives about most varieties. Find what works for you.
WD i could spend hrs typing all kinds of data, in general over the past three years that is what we found.

Wd9. Do you mind telling us what you found in
your esn trial? I have always kick around the idea
of blending some esn into our urea.
      Thanks

Trust me I do get emotional when I seed a field and need a bag more of seed and get another top end variety and it outshines the other 150 acres by a mile I am emotional. They are not the same.

          SF3,

I don't think the issue about L150 being less than stellar in performance is the issue.

How it made it to so many growers' farms on a large acreage is.

That is the message I get from WD9... I find it tough to argue with his test methods!

          Cheers!

                Burbert,

You bought seed from every pedigreed seed grower... and know for a fact all tell misrepresent what they sell?

I call your bluff. When did you last buy pedigreed seed from our farm; and had us misrepresent our pedigreed seed on the sale to you?

Furrow - I wasn't trying to undermind you. I know you are a credible guy who does an outstanding job and small and big scale test plots. I commend you for that. Always great info. Just wanted to hear your answer thats all. Looking at doing some V12-1 from Cargill and a ariety or two of Pioneer. Did you have any V12 in your plots?

How many plots does it take to make 3000 acres?
                    2700 L150 average was 40
                    320 5440 was 49

L150 has poor harvestability cause it grew 6'tall
and laid down. Next year will be 5440 and L120.

Rhoff tHanks that's how I do a plot. 5440 is way
                      better.
