    Folks,

The Agstar77's and Burberts are laughing at us... instead of insisting the CWB reform and begin to transition into a viable commercial business.

Unless having the CWB gone... is what they truly want and expect...

Negotiations MUST create an operational viable road map to a future for our industry.

We couldn't even figure out an equitable and fair way to buy 2 ships!

What a totally embarrassing national disgrace!!!

At least the Conservatives are attempting to find out what we want... it is clear we do not know our selves!!!

It is cynical to believe the Conservatives are just trying for votes. However, if you say that, who else can you vote for? Liberals and NDP guarantee you the CWB and perhaps an even more government controls. I see no choice but to hope and inform all MP's we demand this bill pass asap. Everyone should be at least somewhat satisfied. Get on their emails or phones!

          Furrow, You said:
" you right, the liberals and NDP will keep the CWB and try to stuff canola in there as well".

Is there credible evidence to this statement? I'm just asking!

Nothing credible just a gut feeling. Anyway it will be interesting to see where this bill ends up.

              Furrow;

Put the ENO away! We mushrooms don't grow good when fed it :-)

I don't think that, or a lentil marketing board (LMB) will/should ever happen.

However I do think that the minister of AG/CWB knows more than he lets us know and is not being honest with us about the big picture and direction this or any other, Gov't is taking us.

                wmoebis,

Goodale did a superb job of confusing everyone with the CWB becoming a 'mixed' public private corporation.

What is the CWB? A Genetically Modified hybrid that is responsible to no-one... but responsible to regulate itself... with no real accountability to any one but lawyers and CWB managers.

This is nothing but a really bad night mare.

                Consider this:

3 Organic directors that represent the 'balance of power' in the CWB... that have voted themselves a dual market and competition to maximise their own grain prices... at the expense of conventional commercial grain growers!

How on earth did these guys even get 'selected' to be CWB Directors?

THis CWB system is an enigma... on top of a socialist dream... on top of a rip off for every commercial conventional grain grower... whether they understand what is happening or not!

For Conventional commercial grain growers... who care one iota about the marketing of their produce... this present CWB system is insane.

The CWB buying ships that I must pay for... and can not use or benefit from... is proof.

Again this is money and votes. Whats more important to our MP`s, ethics or votes? The Conservative`s take us for granted and nobody else seems to care..We need a western Bloc party that actually has our best interests as their focus..

We tried that, REFORM PARTY! Would never get elected in Canada due to the eastern bias. Sorry not an option in our lifetime.

How many years has Harper had to bring this forward? Why is the long gun registry still standing?? Bringing this forward now is such a joke.

Harpers tv ad's of him sitting at his desk late into the night doing paper work another joke.

Him standing up for Canadian? Omar Koddar should have received a fair trial. As a Canadian citizen I don't care what he may have done he deserved a trial. Being a Canadian citizen must mean something, or at least anything.

An election is in the works that is for certain. Time is up for Harper in my view...too little to late!
