You're assuming they bring it to a vote. What makes you think that will ever happen? Did their bill to fix the sorry director elections ever make it back to Parliament after 1st reading? No. Not even 10 seconds of debate.

And if they do, and it is defeated as it will be, will we open our wallets again and fill the Conservative Party coffers like we did when the gun bill went down? Not this guy. I'm through with being manipulated and played with.

Ask them what they want and promise them that, seems to be the Conservative moto, and so far it`s worked. They introduce a private members bill vs a government bill ,so it will not be a vote of confidence if it is defeated. Offering a teat for all of the crying justforus farmers, so they can say they tried and get your votes in the upcoming election. How hilarious is that. regardless of party.

What pressure can we bring on other mps who
have no cwb agenda. Most of the mps in the
canadian cities do not even know what the cwb
does. The problem is most of the country is only
self interested.

to ask a couple questions. Would anyone be
willing to write, email or call their
member of parliament to let them know how
strongly they feel about bill C-619? If
all the MPs get letters and calls maybe
they'd actually pay attention to what
farmers think. Or do you think that too is
a waste of time?

I'd even give you odds on this smoke and mirrors act. So blatent and somewhat pathetic they really think we're that dumb. But hey maybe some are, me ever increasingly skeptical and cynical as I age can't imagine why.

If you believe getting 1000 farmers to fly to the H of C is easy, you'd believe anything. lol. But I thought about inviting a couple of Ottawa school classes, taking a picture, and plucking the hundred right out of your wallet. LOL
