CWB 'Continuing Personal Guarantee' AN INSULT

    "Continuing Personal Guarantee

Continuing Personal Guarantee: Existing actual producers and landlords who currently appear on a delivery permit as a joint operation, trade name or partnership must complete and return a Continuing Personal Guarantee form by May 1, 2009 to be eligible to sign up a PPO. The Continuing Personal Guarantee relates specifically to delivery contracts and PPOs, and is not related to the cash advance program."

This "is not related to the cash advance program"!

Our families farms don't need this... anywhere else... except for the CWB.

What is the CWB trying to prove?

Did I miss something...! Isn't the CWB supposed to provide our farms marketing services?

When did WE not pay the CWB money we owed them?

    THEY have OUR money!

    THIS IS AN INSULT.

    Dear Charlie,

WHY DOES the CWB keep the dollars for "carry in the market"?

IE Dec 09 vs Mar 10 Futures:

    US Futures /CDN per T /CDN price

    Dec. 09 $7.08 $303.24 $8.25
    Mar. 10 $7.18 $307.52 $8.37

If I plan to deliver after Dec futures expire... and planned to do so in advance... why should the CWB keep my money for the carry in the market?

I am thinking the personal guarantee is for producers like me that don't pay back the money that they owe the CWB for PPO contracts not delivered.
