    vote splitting and possible turncoats

with 4 or more candidates in some districts how do you decide who to vote for?
Make some phone calls, look at the past history of the person.
Get him drunk and listen to him rant (this would be my favorite).
Dont vote for a turncoat choice candidate who will sell out his beliefs when elected (if he wasnt just lying to get your vote). A couple names come to mind.

Think before you vote and DONT SPLIT THE CHOICE VOTE.

You are right Ron , trust no one! One of your free market candidates might just have a twinge of conscience after they are elected.

Speaking of "twinge of conscience" - whatever happened to Ritter after the left side ganged up on him.

If a person runs and is elected on a specific platform and later switches sides he should then resign and run under his new platform. He was elected to represent his voters not to change his mind and decide he knows what they really need. This applies to both sides.

          LWeber...

Ritter followed the money. Flaman followed the money. For themselves and their Liberano buddies.

How growers can take the two faced actions of these folks... and reelect them defies explanation.

Ron... your thoughts are rational... folks who vote in CWB elections are obviously NOT RATIONAL. WAKE UP!

Goodales revenge. This has NOTHING to do with maximising the grain growers returns... that is not who the CWB is interested in serving. The Agents hold the interests of the CWB... that has been the historical record of CWB activity. Exactly the opposite of the doublespeak words they poured forth!

So anytime a politician goes back on his word, they should resign? They would all resign.

so if the politicians have to resign after changing their mind ,
then the entire Sask conservatve candidates plus harper would have to resign after the equalization promise was broken

everything we do in this messed up world revolves around the almighty dollar! It is amazing, however, that conscience and morals can be bought for a mere $75-100,000 a year!

Not 8 years ago... 4 months ago...

Ritter left as Chair with no fanfare and no thanks from an institution that he protected for 8 years - what did he disagree with that made him fall out of favour with the gang of seven?

Is conscience only relevant if you agree with the majority?

Great minds think alike - weak ones never differ.
