    Ritz Cracker Please

Will the ole ostrich man keep his seat in cabinet? He has certainly demonstrated that he is wise-guy enough to continue as Ag Minister (no interest in public safety, or farming in general), ignorance is an asset in the public service. Common sense is a dangerous thing in government, when formulating policy is an issue!

That's quite an incisive statement mustardman. Were we to be impressed by it?

Burbert and mustardman, I assume you are farmers and that you both live in a rural area somewhere in the prairies. Did more people in your Federal ridings think the Conservatives would govern better, or did more choose another party when they voted on Tuesday?

Ritz has his ways, but at least he is not a boke Ontario pig farmer or some relative of a chicken farmer from B.C. He is from the heartland of grain/oilseed/pulse area, we may not see that again in decades. I say give him one more "crack" at it he will be much better this next go around.

You'd better ask the families of the 19 who died.
Do you think Gerry should have one more 'crack' at it ?

And Kodiak I would like to see an experiment to prove me wrong . Instead of David Anderson running next time they should run his dog as the conservative candidate. No matter how good the other candidates are , the dog will win.

            This is how strange
the voters can be. Lets give Larry Hill a landslide with over 60 % . Then turn around and give Mr. Anderson 60 %
            Gp figure

Mustard and Burpfart you two are pathetic. A true liberal will take a very sad story and try to run with it. Blaming Ritz for his insensitive comments to basically just try to get some votes from pathetic easterners that's low. But wait that's the liberal and NDP way. Why don't you two parties just join together. Yea the liberals could manage this country, just like their party debt. And Layton just promise every thing because you will never form govt.

                Mustardman,

It is clear that the way the CWB skews the elections through Goodales design of CWB Act requirement... ARE NOT DEMOCRATIC.

EVERYONE MUST pay for CWB blunders in marketing... NOT JUST GRAIN GROWERS in the 'designated area'.

THEREFORE EVERYONE has the right to determine the CWB's fate.

WHEN the CWB has clearly lost billions for commercial grain growers... the economy suffers as well. It was simple timing... as well as undercutting the markets... which hurt all Canadians.

NONE of this is Minister Ritz's fault... as you well know.

MP David Anderson is even less in the drivers seat to how the CWB markets the CWB monopoly arrested grains.

There is one DOG here... and one predetermined NON-DEMOCRATIC outcome.

THE CWB Elections about to have another farce run.

Go (CWB)DOG Go... the light is green... for the moment.

Thanks for so clearly identifying what IS happening here... the few folks that decide CWB directors... could care less what the election will determine for commercial grain growers.

THAT is the clear issue HERE.

On roy green a few weeks back he interviewed wayne easter. Easter fully understood the jest of ritz's remarks. More or less explained that over a beer the same comments he(easter) would say the same thing. Easter more or less passed the comments about himself off. He gained some respect for publicly saying that. As for the families remark - I think that was something not to be heard - something like the Dion do overs.

Ritz is probably done in cabinet. So we end up with a eastern ag minister - maybe good maybe bad. There is no cwb in eastern canada - he may ask why is there one in western canada. The main thing is it will be a conservative ag minister. Not easter, goodale or a banker.
