    Oats

    Bye,bye oats.

It was nice knowing you when you were only 4 dollars.

Time for the momentum traders to take you to new highs.

so you are saying it was the right year to seed 1700 acres. My best money maker consistently. So what do you recommend for dealing with basis I am asssuming it will go to the moon with the futures, my plan is to wait for Mar delivery, maybe catch the funds and acreage buying. Have 40% booked for sept/oct delivery with calls bought for dec 08.

      Cotton

I'm not doubting you, but just wondering. What are your reasons to be so bullish about oats?

Glad to see oats price rising...the FIRST time that I quit farming, oats were selling for 69 cents a bushel. One reason that I quit.

bucket: Yes, but what does that have to do with it? After oats went off-board the prices were still the ****s.
