    Wildlife

I cannot believe all the wildlife in the area. We went for a long ride on the Rhino yesterday checking crops, and saw coyote, moose, deer, fawns, and oh, birds...You cannot believe the birds in this area! Bluebirds flitting all over, warblers, orioles, etc. every kind of duck you can imagine, and everything is in ultra-chatter-mode.

Tiger lilies, ladyslippers, every kind of wild flower you can imagine.

Speaking of wild, where is melvill?

Strangely enough, Lee is likely viewing wild life as we speak - Churchill/polar bears.

Lots around here this year too. See black bears almost every week, deer and turkeys daily. Ruffed grouse, all kinds of other birds. Haven't seen any cougars or elk in person lately but there's the odd track around. Still lots of fishers and coyotes around too.

Yup, seeing lots of wild life. Cougars too numerous to count now that it has gotten warmer.

I like the wildlife also. Took the 2.5 month old out today and she seemed to enjoy the fresh air and the sounds of all the birds. Only 5 days ago the magpies got some lead. Other than that I tend to slow down to watch the others like the foxes that set up home just 50 yards off the main grid, I am waiting for the younguns to come out.

Kill all the predators and then bitch about the gophers.

I didn't mean I was going to kill the young foxes! Maybe was a bad choice of words.
