    here we go again

Have two cars of wheat to load( one of durum #1,one of spring wheat #1). CN was scheduled to run the week of June 16th. Our marketing agent(CWB) does NOT want this grain now until weeks 51 or 52, in other words not until the very end of the crop year if then. Their reason --- no sale to put it against and do not want to pay storage until they absolutely have to.

The CWB responds only when they get hassled, which is why they have no sales.

I will wager a bet the WCWB got so much flack over cheap organic buybacks, that they will raise the cost of the buybacks for organics.

They respond only when they get hassled, and then the rersponse will be to lessen the pain for the staff, NOT to fix the problem.

What a sorry lot of human beings farmers pay.

And the CWB brags about how much they use producer cars. So if there was no sale for that car load then why did they schedule it in the first place? Sorta like our soft wheat contracts, now find someone grain company to take it. huh
