    moisture?

We have in Lacombe area about8 1/2" of snow and good drifting today. We drove from Windsor, Ont. from Thurs. aft to Sat night and saw thru Illinois,Iowa Sioux Falls then north to Estevan and on to Medicine Hat 4(four) outfits in the field. These were close to the Can.border and just over the border. The fields in Iowa thru Sac City all had water standing and a fellow at a service center said they would be a good week to 10 days before they moved to the field. In North Dakota there were still snow banks on the down wind side from the previous snow. So I guess the corn or wheat will be late in the critical growing areas. Moisture is welcome to the grass guys but the grain guys will need all the help they can get.

Funny thing today drove from yorkton area to moosejaw.
Fields that were SMF you could spot a mile away. Dust was blowing off it.

It is white everywhere you look here - as much as we had all winter, again. No feild work for at least 10-15 days. The moisture much neede south of us - we will take it here and not needed north of us. Over 2 ft north and west of N.B.
