    HFL,

In the Federal Court of Canada, this is what the CWB said:

"...the Board was not and is not
not accountable to individual producers. Rather the Board is accountable only to Parliament. Therefore neither the Board or the Crown owed any legal duty to the plaintiffs (farmers).

The CWB lies to farmers. Ritter lies to farmers.

    Ritter must resign.

      Agstar77,

I never personally attacked anyone who is actually participating on this forum. (unless you are Adrian Measner)

You guys seem to think you can call Minister Strahl or Prime Minister Harper any name you like or cut them down; my comments about Measner are no different and should be viewed in the same light.

If Adrian wants to play in the realm of politics he can expect to be treated in the same manner he treats others.

Agstar77, Agri-ville is not the house of commons. If someone is being dishonest or lying, I’m pretty sure we can point that out. And as I said before the man is lying through his teeth about the CWB not being a government agency or that the minister doesn’t have any responsibility here or what this issue is about.

This is what the court finally says in the M-JAY FARMS ENTERPRISES LTD vs the CWB case:

"....whether in fact the plaintiffs have been treated fairly, or may have a legitimate complaint by reason of the actions of the Board, nevertheless, in the view I take of this statute the responsibility is not to any individual producers but rather to the Minister under the Act and finally to Parliament."

When the CWB went to the WTO the CWB claimed they were "in essence a farmer co-operative...subject to no direction, supervision or influence by the Government of Canada."

          So which is it?

I agree Asmith. Those CWB boys can lie through their teeth when it suits their purpose.
