    Canada post strike and cheques

Had 4 calls in the last few days 2 were cheques that the companies said they were holding and we could go pick up one 200 kilometers away and 2 calls from companies asking if we'd courier them the amounts we owe them in case of a strike cause they are 30 day due. Talk about a double standard we farmers face.

If we owe them, too bad for us, if they owe us, too bad for us, must be losers?

Absolutely hate unions for this reason as well - a bunch of overpaid underworked babies

Just give the mail to the Jehovah. They go door to door for nothing anyway.

Mail volume has dropped everywhere except western Canada. What I read cupw is the real thorn as the other 2 unions are more willing to deal. They are not relevant like they once were. It sucks for us farmers and small business which relies more on the mail than most people but for most people they could really give a flying **** about a mail strike. This will only further push mail unions into obsolescence as their jobs aren't needed.
