    Nail biter in Britain

Must be one of the most difficult results ever to predict, polls have been neck and neck much of the campaign. In the last couple of days its looked like the "Remain" side were slipping into the lead with the UK Pound gaining dramatically as the traders thought it was going to be status quo. Nigel Farage the leader of the UK Independence party pretty much conceded early today but the early results are pointing more towards a "Leave" result now. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland voting to remain with England favouring leaving. Interesting times.

ITV, BBC and now SKY, all say the U.K. is LEAVING! 310/381 riding counted Vote will be 52 leave; 48 remain

Pound down to 1985 levels and gold up!

Good for the English to vote Britain's way out of an unelected group which has too many freeloading P.I.G.S.

The Scots appear to not have helped the exit cause but they will be leaving with Britain too.

A very tight result as predicted but I don't think the sky will fall - countries like Switzerland have managed just fine being landlocked by EU countries and not being a member.

The Scottish vote was a tricky one - I believe the instinct of the average Scot would have been to exit but perhaps felt safer from the Scottish Nationalist threat of independence if still attached to the EU. Of course the calls are coming already that there must be a second Scottish referendum as the majority of Scots wished to remain in the EU. Completely dishonest bunch of crooks the SNP - the Independence referendum was to be a "once in a generation" choice but now they keep wanting it over again until they get the "right" result.
Less than 2 years ago 28 out of 32 Scottish constituencies voted to "Remain" part of Great Britain - their should be no second referendum on independence.
