    farma, ?

what would you consider to take out or setback sowthistle in flax. Have some patches on some new land. Don't really want to use Lontrel due to future rotations.

Curtail M. But by the sounds of the posts in the "question for klause" thread I'm beginning to think I'm missing something or doing things wrong!

Sorry. Overlooked the lontrel comment! It's probably the only thing that will set them back and/or reduce their populations. Might be worth adjusting the rotation to get a handle on them. But others may have better advice....

Letting them go and then doing preharvest would likley work too but you'll have to look at the mess all season and the buggers will probably set seed before they are preharvested.

Just a couple spots where some brush was cleared 20Ac. Probably will pre harvest that quarter, so want some regrowth. BructrilM will likely knock them back, yet allow regrowth for pre harvest. Take my lumps for this year, really want to put a pulse down next year.
