Losing the knack....

My goodness, I have come to realize I am losing the ability to drive straight in the field, doing headlands, etc. I've lost the touch because of autosteer. Over correcting, misjugding distance, steering around small obstacles.... whoda thunk it! OR am I just getting old? Obviously less fatigued but out of practice.

Driving straight is overrated here. Started out a field poker straight, by the time I got over the hill to the other end of the field I was out by 4 full passes of the planter anyway.

farma, the problem could be that your "outfit" is bigger now than when you last self steered, so you would not have, the built in memory, of this width of drill etc.
