    Looking for some polish.

Anyone know where to find some polish canola seed? Plan A failed, plan B passed me by. On to plan C.

    Thanks

Try Bob Mastin at Sundre AB. How is the spring work coming? We are going to have too wet too seed acres in the Edmonton region this year. Over 4 inches in the last week. I would rather lose crop to drought than a flood as well.

Yes, Mastin has early one. I was wondering about a bit closer, but we will see. Spring work has been difficult. Almost done combining. Fabas were elk eaten, canola looks ugly although there was a fair yield. Sick and tired of getting stuck with the combine! lol I have a pretty fast system though now in getting out. I plan to use fire on my cereal stubble which is muddy slime to the surface still.

Need some polish for in case the next week goes to pot. Thanks.

Why polish ? Unless you don't do Round up canola , wich is all good , why would you *** around with polish when rr early varieties are the same and will out yield polish by 20-30% ?

My last field I will be seeding is unbelievably wet. I do not forsee it being ready much before mid June. I do do rr canola at times. Mastin has had 40 bushel polish routinely. I do not know of any recent trials under todays agronomy, which include polish. I bet if we treated it like we baby our hybrid Argies, we may well be surprised.

120 acres is all I intend at this time. Oh, and it is 2-3 bucks a lb.

In recent years we have had fields we just couldn't seed because of water, but really needed to get something growing. We used to a fair success a Valmar on a heavy harrow and went back with the sprayer when the canola was just starting to cabbage out and dribbled on Nitrogen. We stuck with RR or liberty just for the fact of weed control. It was very noticeable this spring in seeding spots that hadn't been seeded for a few years how wet they were. they sure need a crop growing on them

Ash has Synergy up at Trawin Seeds.

Have a look at pioneer 43e03

As early as synergy huge yield potential decent shatter resistance too!

                    And it's RR
