I have seen more mixed products like this one instead of pure butter.

Food and health are a pretty complex topic with lots of politics attached.
Farmers have done an amazing job of increasing productivity which translates into inexpensive food...couple that to a sedentary lifestyle and you get the societal health problems.

Simple solution - everyone do a little more physical work each day...my Sunday advice.
 Have a great day,
 Joe

Trust a cow more than trusting Food Industry's Chemist

For years Giant food industry told us how bad butter and eggs were for you. When in fact it was the opposite

Mustard, it was never the "Giant Food Industry" that claimed eggs were bad for you. The following article explains the history of what happened fairly well.

"Research from the 1970s reported that high-cholesterol foods, especially eggs, raise blood cholesterol levels. These early studies included foods that were rich in both cholesterol and saturated fat (such as butter), so scientists incorrectly believed that cholesterol was the main culprit. "

There were various provicncial regulations that forbade the blending of dairy and vegetable oils. These regulations also called for margerine to be colored so as to look different than butter.

These regulations have since been repealled and there is currently no restiction on blended products.
