How far does .78 inches go when after the rain all it is is hot and windy with very low humidity. Sucks the life right out of you and everything else. We seeded the flax and canola into moisture and even a little deeper than we normally do. I don't want to go and look to see if it's still in moisture....afraid.of what I might see.

It is fooking amazing how fast things can go from adequate to borderline to holy shit its dry again. All the "best of luck" wishes, being hopeful and optimistic doesnt grow a crop.....the "right" conditions do....not too wet or too dry but somewhere in between. Cruel way to try and make a "living". Seems a lot more can go wrong than right.

      Take care, in every way!!!

          Furrow and farmaholic

That exactly what happened last year here. No rain. Sat in dry dirt until well into July.

If it's that dry you are going to need a gentle rain.

          Half inch won't do it.

Super dry dirt almost waxes or beads a small rain.

As bill Clinton says.... I feel your pain.

Although he was banging interns to ease the pain.

Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where you can bang interns...your wife can be a bank puppet...and both can be president....and others associated with them can promote a far fetched myth and make billions.....

Oh wait ....out of tinfoil.....gotta go.

Yup it's a stacked deck of countless possible negative outcomes...any one having success has been lucky and too dumb to quit when we got the crap kicked out of us, every once in while.
