    Seeding Progress...

We are down to the real short strokes here, 25-30 acres of headlands I didn't want to finish in the dark.

    How is everyone else doing?

Peas and durum pushing through nicely.

I should go fishing. Do cutworms make good bait?

85% complete. The end can't come soon enough. More to life than getting piles on a tractor seat for 300 hrs.

You must have a gazzillion acres JD. I did some math today, at about 2500 acres and 30 acres/ hr is about 83 hours of actual seeding time for us. Time to fill and switch crops and calibrate. And we sleep too!!!! This is a spring we could be doing more. But only have one combine to get it off with.

        Aaaaah screw it,..life is short.

Should be done tomorrow or mid Wednesday.
Got a pile of corn to get in now though .
          Area probably 70% I would think .

We got to 52% last night.
Funny when its just a bit wet you can make so much time.
Up and back up and back. Kind of easy to seed this way.
Oh a wet spot go around.
Ah seeding is actually fun for first time in years.

300 hours is about 9000 acres. Jd is catching up to sk3s acres.

3 days of Canola seeding to the finish flag. There's very little weed growth. Is that what everyone is seeing? We rolled our yard with Par3, good-bye dandelions.

I always put on about 300 hours on my tractor, seed 3900 acres. Lots of idle, fill, transport time I guess. That's the problem with rented land being individual quarters.
