    Is the Canola all sold?

At a few points anyway $12 was available for a few hours Tuesday

Sold some but not out yet. Need some gambling stocks you know

Beatch slapped pretty hard the last two days, guess they're going to make those still holding pay for the $12 plus that they dished out on Tues. There might have been enough sold Tues to take them to summer shut down.? If so there likely won't be anymore legs, unless there was/will be sizable frost damage in the nest 2 weeks.

Acres might not be as large as expected.

Proof-in-the-pudding will be old crop 'basis levels'. This is a clear signal of buyer demand.

If the July basis stays snug, buyers are still short . . . if basis now weakens, buying may be nearing completion for the crop year.

The way it looks in Alta, dry weather, no prospects for rain, dry frosts etc, the only canola to sell for a year and a half may be old crop.
