It's great to adapt new technology but some of this newer BS technology is costing us a lot of money in down time and repairs. Can still farm a lot of acres with old school technology

The buyer of this one should do some more homework as it is difficult getting transmission parts for the manual gearboxes on the CaseIH 4wd. Case no longer supports them. Really have to stop bidding it up sooner.

Of the big manufacturers its the Versatile brand that has done the best to hold true to the "keep it simple" adage.

Big heavy frames, heavy Cat tranny, off the shelf bearings. Not perfect but still much simpler than the rest.

One neighbor messaged me toninght, went to move his two quad trac units to the field for a big Monday assault. One unit has SCR failure error and now sits parked on first day of the big seed waiting for Youngs service rep to Come out tomorrow. Prolly some Emmissions sensor or other crap

Gee , judging from this info my old ST 250 Steiger just went up in value. Old eqipment usually if it is well maintained just keeps on runnin....
