    Rain/snow in SESK and Manitoba?

Had about 8.5/10ths here Thurs night-Friday. Will slow everybody down a bit, might not be so bad that way. The amount won't be too burdensome even though there is still some standing water yet today. Just won't be looking for anymore now till mid or late May. They were forecasting 75mm, that would've been disastrous.

Just wondering what other amounts were around?

.08/10ths.... not even one tenth. Silver lining is it is cool and damp today... doesn't have to be hot and windy!

We really aren't in dire straits but we are walking a fine line... we won't be able to handle too many hot dry windy days before things start getting precarious for shallow seeded crops...yet too early to plow in canola and have it come up and freeze with an early May frost.

Ahh farming. Not for the faint of heart or anyone who knows better...lol!!

1" 3/10ths here so far - falling as rain on the ground but icing on the trees/powerlines.

Basically a shower or two nothing at all. Frost still needs to come out of the ground probably this week. Seeding in our area is last week april if next week goes good for temps. Durum and Peas that's it.

Ditch grass along the grid covered in spider webs...folklore says DROUGHT! Certainly early for them, wonder what they know? Never bother with a web unless warm and dry?
