    Crazy weather.

Yesterday, our high was 1.8 C. Today, our high was -4C. Yesterday it was like 23 in Regina and Saskatoon.

    That is just simply ridiculous...

Was snowing this morning here. Inlaws called from Medicine Hat. It was 23 degrees there, -8 here.

I am amazed at how different it can be in such a short distance.

What a bizarre place to live. Leaves will be on the trees in the tropics of Saskatoon, before our snow even goes!

If they can only find a way to pump the warm water up from the Gulf of Mexico into Hudsons Bay you would be set .. Damn that Artic cold water flow into the Bay
Here's hoping you warm up and dry out.
All our lowland here is flooding out again , I was getting concerned about it back in early Feb with the weather pattern setting up here.
Should be able to run a boat across 1800 AC by weds . Could be worse I guess , it could be May 1st like 2013, or dust blowing like other areas .

We still have snow , even on the worked up pea stubble - about 40% still covered , some canola stubble still at 75% or so. Water running just behind last year and not far off 2013 .

Its the same old weather as always. North of valley never warms up as fast as Swift or Hat or Lethbridge.
We have longer days in summer and rain. When fall comes we drop fast in temp. Snow is possible right up till June in our end of the province.
Its normal just like every early spring since time began. Back in my school days first week of june Ice gone and hockey over creeks ran and we were playing ball at recess in early march.
Then rain or snow and melt.
Its happened before and it will again.
              But what a great winter.
Every time I seeded in April it was a F$%K up.

After an easy winter and several weeks of spring-like weather through March (15C one day last week), an Alberta Clipper came through and dumped 6" of snow on us along with -8 temperatures. Supposed to be quite wintery all week.

We had to get winter sometime, I guess! At least it ain't dark. LOL!

Freewheat, were about are you again? When we left Melfort Saturday about one, it was +3. Got to Watson, it was +7. By the time we got ten miles south of that it shot up to +17. +21 from Southey to Regina.
