At what point does there become too much on offer at once?

Another block. Man some people work a lifetime to try to put something like that together.

Anyone there? Lot's of interest or a bigger block get put back together?

It appears in the last 24 months the average cultivated acre in the RM of Mount Hope #279 sold for $1075. ($903-$1321 based on 7 sales)

The one 148 acre quarter I randomly checked that sold was assessed at 81,400 and sold for 170k.

I farm in 279, yes it sold for average, but some of it is pretty "Western" back there. Took the quad to the sale and travelled through a lot of it. Very wet and rutted up from harvest last year. More so than expected. Very few straight lines between all the sloughs, water runs bushes rock piles and creeks. I must be losing my ambition, cause I couldn't get excited about it at all.

Is it possible that after seeing the potential of his dirt at Birch hills , and knowing the very limited production of that poor land at Raymore that he just got rid of a head ache ? Me thinks so .

Tell the new buyers and the neighbouring land owners that. Not everyone is blessed with utopian farm land, some people make the best of what they have, good or not as good.
