Burn down your cities and leave our farms, and your cities will spring up again as if by magic; but destroy our farms and the grass will grow in the streets of every city in the country. William Jennings Bryan

Larry that was harsh, very unprofessional on your part. I doubt you'd talk like that in public.

Thanks Larry! Chuck u must be under some illusionthat all farmers want these programs. Just pay us what our products are actually worth. I believe a whiny bitch like u would be paying a helluva lot more for your food if that was the case. U would be glad to keep us on the welfare line just to feed your appetite at the cheap rate.

Weber has a better handle on ag logistics than anyone on this forum.

We would be lucky to have him comment more often in any language.

Understand what he is saying not how he says it.

Larry you must be having a bad day!

You know it is okay to have a difference of opinion.

I see the value in many of the wealth transfer programs for farmers (subsidies). Some are good policy, some not so much.

But if you are going to criticize carbon taxes on the basis of it being a wealth transfer program then you better be able to defend the programs that subsidize or support your industry.
