    Commercial Applicators with Autistic Children

Out of the few commercial chem applicators I know personally two have severily autistic children. I wonder if there is a strong correlation there. How many do you know?

The highest rate of autism among US states occurs in New Jersey. Not exactly known for it's crop spraying prowess.

Coleville non of the 11 states the CDC tested in the results you quoted are very prevalent crop growing states. "In 2010, the CDC collected data from over 300,000 8-year-old’s living in 11 states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Utah, North Carolina, and Wisconsin"

Why did they not pick ND, Kansas or Texas to test? And where are they picking these kids in urban or rural locals. Cdc study looks like smoke n mirrors.

How would you connect the dots?
            Male sperm affected
Pregnant(or not) female exposed to pesticides through laundry, direct exposure(helping load and maintain equipment), indirect exposure(in vehicles, laundry).
Environmental exposure- then autism should be more wide spread in high application areas.

Could be all of the above tough to say really. When your dealing with the stuff there is always exposure. Exposure migrates everywhere from chem handler splash, fumes, sweat, to hands, skin, clothes, ball caps, gloves, shoes, to door handles, steering wheels, cell phones. Then from dripping nozzles, cleaning plugged nozzles, drift, walking in sprayed fields you name it. Oh ya and remember dont eat or drink if your out spraying all day. Some are more careful than others but pretty safe bet that the full time commercial chem applicator has some of the highest levels in their body, vehicles, clothes and homes. Hey you may even notice irrational behavior from the longtime chem applicator himself.

I think its pretty easy to TRY and make that connection. You see two autistic kids and just so happens their dads apply chemicals so boom Chemicals cause Autism.

I am not saying its impossible but 2 cases doesn't mean much.

On the other hand I think most people realize sucking chemicals all day every day cant be good.

Well lets see what are the odds. There are different probabilities listed for the number of autistic chidren CDC states 1 in 68. Some say its much higher. Using the CDC data the chance is 1 in 4624. That probability number could be much higher since these two im talking about are severily autistic. Both had the children when actively in business. Might be a coincindence I don't know thats why I posed the question? In 2001 the CDC estimated the cost of taking care of an autistic kid at 3.2 Million and that doesn't include the stress on the family.

Autism wouldn't have anything to do with the large number of people who take illegal recreational drugs would it?
