    Carbon capture

Since farmers have the biggest carbon capture plants in the world we should collect the money .

This is how a liberal will give you money for our Carbon Sink.

    Collect 100 a ton as a example.
    Admin fee of 10.
    tax of 50 % or 50
    prov tax of 20
Farmer gets the $20.00 two years after it was created.

Why isn t the oil puppet speaking up for farmers instead of only the oil masters? If we had our political head out of our asses we might realize this is an opportunity here, but the oil muppet puppet has no concerns for anyone or any other industy but oil. Not saying I agree with the whole carbon global warming concept but its the cards we are being dealt its piss poor business to piss in the wind like muppet puppet is doing.

It also grinds my gears that no level of government has even mention the Chinese reducing the amount of dockage allowed in export shipments of canola. It's a 17 billion $$ industry and not a peep.

He is sticking up for farmers and the whole province by being the only senior gov't in Canada(fed and prov) not wanting a carbon tax or cap and trade. I haven't heard Ralph or any other federal Liberal say anything about farmers enduring the cost of a carbon tax while at the same time growing food for everyone else.

Maybe we need a carbon tax at the grocery store so consumers(including farmers) pay for the carbon used to grow their food, instead of farmers paying for everyone. The taxes collected could then be distributed back to farmers(revenue neutral so to speak) All other industries should/could pass on the tax to consumers at the till with a designated tax showing on the receipt(CST), along with PST and GST. That would be transparency and fair, but I don't see the Liberals doing it. haha

Liberals don't want to talk about a carbon sink for farmers because the truth be known, Canada,,, overall,,, Is a Carbon Sink, With it's forests and plains, and there really is no need for a carbon tax here in Canada, and that's even if you believe in the AGW. It's all about income redistribution! but it's not just about communities within Canada, it's about distributing the income around the globe.

One thing you can bet on; whatever amount the government gives farmers for sequestering carbon, they'll take at least double that amount back in fuel and carbon taxes.

The whole thing is just another excuse to increase taxes.

For all the "Believers" in this fairy tale, let's rename this movement "Carbon Rapture". The rest of us pagan heathens will burn up...

It's a transfer of wealth for sure.

Another great idea brought up by socialists and drama teachers who think government know how to spend your money better than YOU!

How about working to help in building the Carbon reducing economy; instead of paying the extra taxes?

                          NH3 Canada... just google it!

                          We make our own Destiny...!

Did anyone see the article about Carbon Tax for clean prosperity in the March 3 McLeans magazine? This drivel actually is being bought and paid for.

So the theory is, if you can't beat them....join them and profit from the hysteria.... why not.
