    The power of CHOICE

    If the CWB does such a wonderful job for the DA why not prove it. Compete and beat the grain trade if you can and then guess what the wheat farmer wins or all accounts.He gets all his money up front. He gets buyers competing for his product instead of a stale gov't monopsony. He gets CHOICE. He gets full market value for his efforts.

    Yes, wheat will have different value across the west and so it should. Is natural gas cheaper in Toronto or Edmonton? Is coffee cheaper in Vietnam at port or in the mountains?

    Free wheat in the west. It is the 21st century for gosh sakes.

    Natural gas IS cheaper in Toronto than in Alberta. Also cheaper in Saskatchewan, our POOR neighbour province.

      Wilagro;

      Only he who does nothing makes no mistakes...

      Do you truly believe what you say, about Edmonton's Natural Gas costing more than Toronto's?

      What proof do you have of this?

        I am still waiting for a response to the cwb opening up the market to prove their value to the da farmer. Talk is cheap back it up in the real world.

            Hi Tom...The natural gas prices were published in the Edmonton Journal and also on Mytelus just last week. Look in Mytelus 'archives' now as the article is not the current list.
            Alberta leads the pack...good for us.
