Efficiencies of a el Niño winter.

Just stop a think for a minute about the efficiencies we've enjoyed so far this winter. Snow removal costs, not just as a farm unit, but across our R.M.s and counties(plus cities). Fewer vehicles idling, warming tractors and equipment. Burning summer fuel instead of winter. etc. etc.
Of course el Niño is bringing us 10 degree above normal weather, but wouldn't 2 degree above normal weather still be of a plus, that's the amount "Glowball warmists" say the temps will rise over a hundred years.

Island nations will disappear coastlines flooded of all the ice melts but for us in the prairies and Midwest this is the best thing that could happen.

It's not global warming it's called a cycle. Remember we once had an ice age and before that it was a tropical rain forest in northern ab.

If its going to mean hotter drier summers....no thank you.

Wouldn't it be nice if it didn't matter!

Too hot, too cold, too windy, too calm, frost, hail, too much rain, not enough rain, too humid, too dry....the diversity of weather.

But Ceres, the Roman Goddess of Agriculture (grain
crops), will always do her best to provide a crop using the parameters set out by Mother Nature ;-)

"Ceres" now where did we hear that name before!

This year is likely a one-off. Just one warm winter just like 1986. What a treat! No starving deer, cattle still pasture grazing. Now all we need is a couple of inches of rain in June and a couple in July and we're all happy, aren't we?
