    New crop canola

    Anyone targeting $11 for a start on new crop pricing? Thought it might be a start. If Drew is right and El Niño continues on till mid summer he says a dry western Canada. Other side is if oil heads back up to $40 then our dollar heads for $75 cents and canola is going probably drop

      Nothing wrong with $11, we are thinking the same.
      I think it will have a hard time getting above that for October

          $11 October is definitely a good start.

          Drought = futures improve/basis widens.
          Oil/CDN $ rise = futures decrease/basis improves.
