Losing a few whiskey ***** is a good thing.
And Iceman's heart bleeds for the crop input guys who are about to get shafted. When the credit blows up FCC won't be holding the bag of a rotting carcass.

Hmmm... , not enough cash to go around at high rents.. who woulda thought eh ??? Machinery costs have skyrocketed and inouts were following step - not enough room in the cookie jar for that many fat hands - fairly simple.
Been happening here off and on for several years now, guys get caught up on farming bigger regardless of cost , well .. sooner or later it piles up on both land lords and eager beaver farms.

Hmmmm...why take it out of the landlord's ****in hide? Ya ya I realize some rents were stoopid high but then maybe afew other greedy suppliers of goods and services needs to suffer along with the guys holding the "key stone". Because without that important piece the rest of the shit is ****in worthless and collapses and there is no ag industry!!!

How is that for an awakening?

fjlip, I'd say we are experiencing a winter drought and I hope the damn thing breaks by the time we need rain next growing season.

Sleds sitting idle and this light dusting of snow would be gone VERY quickly when it warms up. We basically moved no snow yet this winter. Too early to hit the panic button and thank goodness we had some soil moisture replenished last fall.
