    You do realize that supply management is a big part of the 14%. Otherwise I suspect that Canadian subsidies are close to the US level. Both sides have crop insurance subsidies, they have so called counter cyclical payments we have agri stability and agri invest.

      I suspect you are wrong but maybe you could provide the methodology used in collecting the data? I don't think supply managed will be included in these figures AS IT IS NOT A SUBSIDY.

      It's convenient to say that those supply managed guys are the ones to blame for all the subsidy but I don't think the facts will back you up.

        OECD used to calculate aggregate level of government support and figured supply management benefit as subsidy equivalent.
