Domestically the penny has dropped shit there aint a lot of grain in eastern SA and vic and southern nsw dairy cows chickens and beefies in feedlots have to be feed.

That would be nice Farma , but that is one of the many reasons Sask farm land is so much cheaper.....
Every single central alberta farmer that has rolled into this area of cheap land is gone . Yup come and gone within 10 years . Some of us have been here 100 plus years. For the most part you have to run a very lean farm here to make it - it has been incomprehensible to those looking for 'the dream' here. Any extra fat gets sucked right off your check at the elevator - starting with freight .

The Rice market is being tore up... as billions had been spent in Asia building reserves... now they can't afford to store it all... and it is being sold off cheap to reduce gov. costs. Transfers to wheat markets as well. one more nail...
