Under the current system, I can't see how the heck they could hold the farmer responsible. You could always claim the sample was mishandled, and it would be easy for some lawyer to find an example of it having happened somewhere. It would only be provable if it was some BTO who's crop filled the entire train.

I have seen wheat samples that when asked to be reinspected and were dug out of back storage rooms had somehow changed to barley.

Someone has to deal with the additional segregation rules the are bound to come with this nonsense.

Not many elevators are designed for additional separation.

                And really why?

Gluten should have been a determining factor 20 years ago.

Look at a wheat ancestry chart sometime and see where some of these varieties fit in.

                  Farmranger

No masters nor should there be in a democracy.

That's the problem people in decision making position like the cgc or politicians and their staff think I work for them.

                  Their attitude is ****ed.

And until someone starts mentioning that they work for us we will continue down a shitty path.

Is there going to be any more classes than there used to be, because that would cause increased segregation costs?
Since you automatically assume the CGC is doing it to screw the farmer, I'd suggest that maybe it's your attitude that sucks bucket.

If the changes are there to help farmers and because it's a government agency dictating the changes then maybe I can change my Lillian seed bushel for bushel for new hrsw seed.

Why is it the changes cost me every time.

Seems to me canada is competing against lower quality all the time from the black Sea.

What's the point in having cwrs and canadian northern hard red?
