    You were kind of... well...
    Bakin' in the sun....

    Rock Lobster...
    Rock Lobster...

    Sounds like something obvious
    An Ausie would do...

    Rock Lobster...
    Rock Lobster...
    Rock lobster..
    Rock lobster.

    We were at a party
His ear lobe fell in the deep
Someone reached in and grabbed it
    It was a rock lobster

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    We were at the beach
    Everybody had matching towels
    Somebody went under a dock
And there they saw a rock

    It wasn't a rock
    It was a rock lobster

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    Motion in the ocean
    His air hose broke
    Lots of trouble
    Lots of bubble

    He was in a jam
    He's in a giant clam

    Rock, rock
    Rock lobster
    Down, down

    Underneath the waves
    Mermaids wavin'
    Wavin' to mermen
    Wavin' sea fans

    Sea horses sailin'
    Dolphins wailin'

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    Red snappers snappin'
    Clam shells clappin'
    Mussels flexin'
    Flippers flippin'

    Rock, rock
    Rock lobster
    Down, down

    Lobster
    Rock lobster
    Rock
    Let's rock

    Boys in bikinis
    Girls in surfboards
    Everybody's rockin'
    Everybody's fruggin'

    Twistin' 'round the fire
    Havin' fun
    Bakin' potatoes
    Bakin' in the sun

    Put on your nose guard
    Put on the lifeguard
    Pass the tannin' butter

    Here comes a stringray
    There goes a manta ray
    In walked a jelly fish
    There goes a dogfish

    Chased by a catfish
    In flew a sea robin
    Watch out for that piranha
    There goes a narwhal
    Here comes a bikini whale

    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster
    Rock lobster

    Songwriters
    PIERSON, KATE/SCHNEIDER, FRED/STRICKLAND, KEITH

I think i speak for all Canadians when I say we are still waiting for a formal apology from Australia for Paul hogan.

Just kidding dire straits and Steve Irwin balanced them books.

A pretty cool newer band is volbeat. Real weird 50's type volcal then mashed in metal. You tube them and start with counting all the assholes in the room. Real different sound.

Cotton, I saw Volbeat in Regina Last May. It rained a whole third of an inch the day/night before so could justify going. By the way that was the last "big" rain before the late July one. They were in Weyburn(Weyburn!!!) a year or two earlier--missed them. I could have lived with afew lower decibels at the concert though, HUH?

Hard to beleive I haven't changed genres of music since I was young. Don't like country.

Sultans of Swing: a Dire Straits classic!

I saw midnight oil and psychedelics furs and split ENZ at a the sweet water?? three day music festival in New Zealand in 1983.

It was awesome. It was an outdoor concert with a stage at the base of a large hill in a pasture by a small river. People just sat on the grass and watched the music. I think there were 12 or 15,000 people there.

Split ENZ closed out the festival and I was pretty "full" by that time. I saw 'six months in a leaky boat' and the next thing you know I wake up to people picking garbage up around me.

I don't think I would tell that story at church.

You probably didn't have to, most were there with you.

That would have been awsome Lep right up my alley.

Farm missed them guys a few times heard the sound was off the charts. Suffer from near debilitating tinitus already so cant handle things like that anymore
