Not in an oat growing area at all, but we have grown them in the past and are planning some in 2016. I haven't kept up on it but heard that Quaker wasn't accepting Morgan oats anymore (which coincidentally is what we have). They were cleaned already. There aren't any elevators around that take oats, they all get shipped out. A good portion of ours last year went to Quaker.
Is there any point in seeding the ones I have, or should I be looking for different seed? If so, what varieties?
