    This new tech may be the replacement for gmo using interspecies transfer. Looks quite interesting. Equivalent to spellcheck for genetic code.

    It does look interesting all right. It could definitely be a game changer in animal and plant breeding <i>if</i> the anti-science people leave it alone. That is by no means guaranteed, as it seems that is always some hippy somewhere upset about something, and if there's nothing else to protest, then this technology will become the devil too.

      as a bonus its considered non gmo. So its in the same class as mutagenesis and all of hobbyfarmers organic food in terms of export and registration.

      ie, no problem.
