Apparently, consolidation is good for every link in the Ag Indusrty chain except for the independant thinking Primary Producer. Yup, we're all going to single handedly take on the behemoth Goliaths.

While we choose to divide and become easy to conquer they consolidate and strenghten.

the long term trend is farmers consolidate. Average farm size is going up. There is purchasing power in multiple unit machinery purchases and fert and spray volume discounts.
      Its just business.

So Dow and DuPont will merge with a new name DowDupont.

Than they will split into three independant publicly traded companies.
