the global climate conference starts tomorrow. the premier of Ontario says unless we give billions to the third world and close down our oil and natural gas industry, the world is doomed. the premier of alberta says "here,here." to hell with the golden goose, we need cash and we're going to get it from taxpayers. the premier of Saskatchewan says "hold on, let's think about the people." our new prime minister says "I've got the answer, and it's giving 2.6 billion of hard earned Canadian dollars to tin pot dictators." let's see how that works out. here we go, I'm thinking my expense line for the next few years is going to look a lot different than this years. oh well, I'm sure agristablity will pick up the difference.

Sad - the East part of Canads is like Greece -!they want to pretend to work 3 days a week and get paid for 5 . Actually includes B.C. , Manitoba is absolutely handcuffed and Alberta has made the worst choice in history . Sask stands alone and with only 1 million people we are fuked to lead this country economically with only 50% of real taxpayers .
This push to drive climate change is going to put Canada into a very deep recession - very soon.., all for nothing.
To me it's no different than Bush leading the Americans into the Iraq war under the guise of WMD ... an endless drain , like pulling the plug at the bottom of the ocean.
If anyone actually believes the b/s that all the ice is going to melt and ocean levels are going to rise , I am sure you will find unicorns .
I hate to tell you that both the north and south poles stay dark and far below zero for three months a year that freezes sea water solid. Sea ice has fluctuated for millions of years and will for millions more but will never ever disappear - think about for even one minute !!!! Take a dish of water outside tonight and check on it in the morning . And we are thousands of miles south of the poles . -

furrow, your comparison to bush and Iraq is right on. i'll throw in our adventure in Afghanistan as well. billions of dollars, and lives spent trying to "nation build" and where are we today. chaos in both countries the west's ability to waste money is unlimited.

Sooooo... the third world will be recipients of mega many computers to make sure the $Billions we spend get fairly distributed to the various computer chip producers... and software/telecommunication... google/Apple/Samsung/Microsoft... all provide the global solutions to reverse climate change!
