    On Broadacres Path?

Lets face it other than lentils and yellow mustard grain prices are in the shitter. Are we about to see a number of the big boys that expanded aggressively in past few years go the way of dodo bird?

Thank goodness we're established, these prices with our shitty yields this year would be challenging otherwise.

    Canola prices could be worse!

Malt Barley 6 bucks? Could be worse.
Too much debt and terrible harvest weather is going to put the hurt on some but overall I think guys pulled this one out of the fire.

There is plenty of money around here. Big yields on big big farms.

No problem in site, BIG boys trading all kinds of iron at 35% premium over USD.

Remember to many years of selling #1 durum through the board for less than $4 bucks a bushel, 16 cent lentils and 6 dollar canola. We were fortunate to have both good yield and quality this year so things could definitely be worse. Farming is a marathon and next year will present different challenges but most will adapt and soldier on.

As we are just about bursting at Bellagio Buffet and see all the faces around us enjoying the beautiful food, I said , "some farmer grew every morsel we are eating". Thank God for farmers.. Food is major-major!
