Wonder how much longer it will be held up by envirionmenntalsts and their supporters.
Would seem an attractive infrastructure project for new government in that it would help economy and not require public money and higher deficits.
Western grain farmers and other rail shippers could benefit from freed up real capacity.

Never happen. Between the natives and the treehuggers this will never happen. It makes total sense but govt with no balls and these two groups place others will put a halt to it.

I think the key word here is EAST. This project will benefit the liberal supporters in the east.
