Chinese bank to buy Syngenta?

I saw that another takeover bid for Syngenta was rejected.
Seems like they might move from Switzerland?
Will an ownership change force an increase in product prices in Canada?
I think I know the answer but wondered what everyone else thinks.

You had an interesting insight , I agree with it.
I dont rely on fertilizer or any "cides" to grow a crop. That is all.
I do have to say the conventional neighbors definitely grow more grain with considerably less weeds with the use of fertilizer and "cides".
I dont do any night time Applications. Usually I am spending that time fixing my primitive machinery or helping my wife with the family duties.
