    Heat on Canola

    Check your bins... two loads in an 8k bin heated like totally heated. Rest of bin is #1.


    Those two loads where sprayed with heat preharvest

      Whole field was straight cut half treated half not. Moisture between 7.2 and 8.3

        Funny you say that Farma....the vast majority of canola around here that has heated so far was straight cut. It was dry but it wasn't cured.

          Straight cut canola dry in 2004/2005/2007.. Had heated canola 2 out of those three years. Soured us from straight cutting. Back then we looked like we were from another planet straight cutting and now look like we are from another planet as we swath and lots are straight cutting.

            Not unusual that they named it HEAT then, it does the job as it is called. Man that makes you wonder about storing straight cut!
