SaskWheat/SaskBarley Development Comission Election

Just got an email saying there is an election this year for three seats on each board. Correct me if I'm mistaken. I didn't vote the first time but it looks like they are both almost plump full of our Favorite radical lefts from the NFU/CWBA. These are the boards that were created after the dismantelling of the CWB right? Haven't seen the candidates yet but it would sure be nice to have some more progressive farmers with new ideas who leave the CWB in the past allocating our check off dollars? Any input or are these boards kind of an after thought?!

I know of a few projects tha the barley side has announced or promoted but the whear side still seems quiet and in shambles but it's doesn't take a genius to figure it out after you look at the board!!

If you don't want the old pro-cwb guys deciding what to do with your checkoff dollars then you need to get the word out and vote! There was a solid lineup of candidates the last time around that sit on the other side of the fence from these guys but the left used fear mongering and misinformation and they got elected

After checking out the www.teambarley.ca website it appears there are 3 great candidates running.

I think there is also a teamwheat.ca. Should check them out as well. The current slate of directors hasn't done anything meaningful with the money. I too was tempted to ask for refund. Will give them one more year.

I think if we get the right people in the right positions and rid the boards of NFU CWblb etc radicals we will see value in our check offs. Just my opinion. Get out and vote these three teambarley.ca farmers in and the team wheat guys and see if we can get proper value!!
