    Global Agrochemical Companies talking consolidation

Currency devaluations in countries like Brazil and low commodity prices in NA have resulted in lower seed and chemical sales for companies like Syngenta and Monsanto. In recent weeks the CEO of Syngenta and the CEO of the company that owns Arysta Lifescience have resigned. The head of DuPont openly admits that they are talking to other companies about future deals. I see less competition in the seed and chemical business in our immediate future and therefore prices will rise for our inputs. Any thoughts?

Yeah, let the raping, pillaging and gouging begin. Maybe they should try tightening their ****ing belts first? And compete for market share, earn more of it by being more affordable? But no...

Only a matter of time before Monsanto takes over Syngenta from what I have been reading....it will get interesting.

What if they cut their advertising budgets, that should pull them thru.
