      The problem with deficit spending is it no longer boosts GDP. What use to give us a 4:1 payout is now 1:1 or lower,have only looked at the states numbers.

          The demographics aren't there to support growth anymore. Old people don't spend on the big ticket items like young families, plain and simple. There's likely no reprieve from this until the middle of the next decade when gen Y really ramps up spending...if they ever move out of their parents basements.
