Breadwinner, in MB most sales are still linked back to the Indian Posse and Hells Angels.

The sad thing is that the stuff sold by gangs to kids can't be trusted and may have dangerous, addictive drugs mixed in. I've never tried any illegal drugs or marijuana but don't put marijuana in that category because I know many fine upstanding citizens that have been occasional puffers for years. I believe that it's use should be researched and either legalized or criminalized on the basis of fact.

        Breadwinner

Growing it and selling it to you makes your neighbor a dealer. I don't have any neighbors taking that type of chance, they have way to much to lose.

What type of neighborhood you got out there?????

I have a question? How does taxing it eliminate the dealers? Seems bootlegging it would continue.

Recreational use or abuse, do we need another option? How long did it take to realize maybe pregnant mothers shouldn't smoke or drink or take drugs while they're pregnant, so lets make it easier for the young people with maturing brains to get access? Treat it like alcohol? Use the excuse, "they will get it anyway" so legalize and regulate it?

The state shall not dictate what I can or cannot do with my own body they do not own us. This is supposed to be a free world or is that all an illusion. We do not need more laws we need less state intrusion into peoples lives. People than may be able to think for themselves. If someone does not want to wear a seatbelt or helmet let em their choice, smoke a joint their choice. Its becoming a sissy nanny state like an Orwell novel where everything we do is dictated to us.

We live in a social society. I don't think it should be quite that simple. If you want to drink, smoke, eat(excess fats and sugars), drug, yourself into bad health maybe you should pay your own medical expenses too then. If you end up with a brain injury or paralyzed because of your choices... Why should I pay for someone else's choices?

                      No win debate.
