    Canola

    This volunteer canola that is growing in all the fields is one tough plant. Been throu 2 freezing nights, -3.4 last night, and it's still standing

    Seems its only hardy when you don't need it to be. Still never got lower than minus two here yet this fall.

      If you look at fields more and more every year they are showing up. It's getting to the point that if they own the seed they own these plants all the time then they own cost to clean them out.

        In previous posts there is mention that you can add a little extra chemical mix in the tank during your post harvest spraying regime and you are good to go.

          volunteer canola is easy to get rid of. always has been, a little tougher if your growing soybeans after canola. no big conspiracy theory.
